Introduction: IFP Board 2020-2021
Hello everyone, my name is Daan Koomen and I will be the next Chairman of the IFP Board 2020-2021! I am 21 years old and this year I will complete my bachelor in Economics and Business Economics. With my university bachelor, I gained a lot of theoretical knowledge but I wanted to develop myself further on a professional level. That is the reason I decided to apply for the IFP board as it allows me to get in touch with Dutch international operating companies and to conduct research in a foreign country. Besides that, the social part of IFP is very appealing to me as I will cooperate with a great team.

I am very glad that I will be announced as the next chairman of the IFP board. At the moment, my fellow board members and I are considering multiple destinations that are interesting for companies and participants. I am very excited about the upcoming year and if you want to know more about International Financial Program, feel free to contact us!
Hi! My name is Célia Pronk and I will fulfill the role of External Relations and Treasurer in the IFP Board 2020-2021. Currently, I am in the last stage of my bachelor Economics and Business Economics. During my bachelors, I wanted to gain practical experience in the business environment on top of my theoretical knowledge. Last year I realized I wanted to postpone my masters and enjoy the student life in Groningen to the fullest. Combining the fun aspects with the professional opportunities IFP provides, I thought an IFP board year would be the perfect way to spend my year.

What interests me the most about the IFP project is that you conduct a valuable research for Dutch companies with a group of peers. On top of that, I heard great stories about the trip you work towards the entire year. Overall, providing a high-quality research as well as being able to have a challenging and exiting board year seems like the perfect combination to me.

After I had spoken to some people about the International Financial Program, I was convinced that I wanted to apply for the IFP board. The chance to set up the entire project with your fellow board members looks like an amazing challenge and experience. After I got the phone call that I was one of the new external relations I was really happy. I am really looking forward to work together with my fellow board members and make this year a great one!
Hi everyone, my name is Misha and I am 22 years old. Currently, I am studying the bachelor Economics & Business Economics, where I discovered my interest for finance. Therefore, Risk is the perfect place to explore this interest. A roommate of mine was a board member of IFP 2020 and he introduced me to the program. IFP was the perfect way to become an active member of Risk and gain experience on a professional level.
The entire project consists of different phases, each is very challenging and exciting in its own way
Setting up a research project and being able to choose the destination appealed to me. The entire project consists of different phases, each is very challenging and exciting in its own way. This gives me the opportunity to develop my skills and to expand my network. The combination of working on a professional level while being among students is one of the great aspects of IFP. This will be a very challenging experience and I am very happy to fulfill the role of External Relations of the IFP board 2020-2021. Together with my fellow board members I am convinced this will become a great year.
Hello everybody! My name is Maaike van Dulst and I will be responsible for the function PR & Logistic of the International Financial Program this year. I am 21 years old and currently, I am a third year International Business student and a second year psychology student. During my IB bachelor, I learned a lot of theory but never saw it play out in real life. I was really curious to see how the theory would apply to the reality. IFP looked like the ideal project to gain real-life experience.

During my semester abroad in China, it was really fascinating to see how emerging economies grow so rapidly. I really love travelling and it looks like an amazing experience to choose and consequently visit a similar emerging country after a year of preparation. I am really excited for the upcoming year and hope you can all join us on this amazing project!
